SUMMARY:Creative Stirling - Lux Audience Award Film Screening - It Was Just An Accident
DESCRIPTION:In Iran\, a man bumps into the person he believes to be his former torturer. However\, the accusation is fiercely denied\, and doubt sets in. Filmed illegally in Iran\, in an interview with Vanity Fair\, Panahi explained\,  “I knew that if I took the script there\, they wouldn’t give me permission to work\,” so a secret network of trusted crew members was used to shoot the film discreetly. You can watch the trailer here. \nCreative Stirling’s screening of this film is made possible with thanks to the European Parliament Liaison Office in the U.K.  You can book your FREE ticket here: Select tickets – It Was Just an Accident – Festival of Europe Film Screening – Creative Stirling Venue but donations are welcome\, and encouraged if possible\, to support The Kitchen at 44 King Street’s Mercat Cross community meals.

SUMMARY:Creative Stirling - Lux Audience Award Film Screening - Sorda (Deaf)
DESCRIPTION:Deaf ceramist Ángela (Miriam Garlo) and her hearing partner Héctor (Álvaro Cervantes) live harmoniously as an inter-abled couple – but with a baby on the way\, their status quo is shaken.
