Edinburgh Spanish Film Festival: A special series of three Spanish films – ‘Romería’

Romería is the third feature film from Spanish director Carla Simón. The story follows Marina, an 18-year-old girl who travels to Vigo, Galicia, to meet her biological father’s family for the first time. Marina was orphaned at a very young age after both of her parents died from AIDS-related complications.
