Europe Festivals Scotland (SCIO) is a small UK charity registered in Scotland dedicated to advancing the arts, culture and science; promoting education; and supporting human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation. We work nationally and in partnership with organisations across Europe to foster understanding, creativity and cooperation.

As a small charity, individual donations make a genuine and immediate difference to our work.

Wholly run by unpaid volunteers, our work is rooted in a simple belief: that knowledge, dialogue and culture, are essential foundations of a peaceful and democratic society. We work carefully and purposefully to ensure that our programmes deliver meaningful benefits to the communities we serve.
